comming up friday to prefish for the skeeters owners tournament sunday and I was wonderin if it would be worth it to try to fish somewhere in Lake St. clair or to go somewhere like Pelee and go for the smallies there. :help:
You dont have to be specific about spots but I have never personally fished lake st. clair, or lake erie me and my dad usually stay in Sandusky bay or east harbor.
I live in grove city OH and I will be driving quite a ways and be fishing blind anywhere I go, any help at all will be greatly appriciated
Thanks a bunch!

Follow the gulls, they will be over schools of minnows being thrashed by smallies.

What kind of fish you looking for? LSC is loaded with lots of SM bass putting on the feed bag. any where along the mile roads. (metro to 9 mile tower) is good try 14 fow. I'll get 4 or 5 perching every time. If you were to drift you'd have all the bass you want. you might want to check on this line Thursday and find out the water clearity. also you might want to think about the winds. east or nort/east is a bumpy day along the mile roads.
