I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and successful archery season. When you're in that tree stand Friday morning, remember why you're there and take some time to be thankful for having the opportunity to be in the woods for that and any other additional hunts you go on during the year.

Thanks! I also hope everyone has a safe and satisfying opening weekend. I won't be able to make the opener, but will be sitting in a tree with my 11 year old daughter Saturday morning. My 14 year old son will be a mere 50 yards away. No doubt I am already thankful to just be able to share these days with my children. My 14 year old took a spike out of the stands my daughter and I will be in Saturday morning... Anything else this year for any of us would just be icing on the cake after that.

I too would like to take this time to wish everyone a safe and successful hunt. For this will be my last day on the forum.

Meeting in Lansing tomorrow get back home 1 1/2 hr drive all loaded and ready to head to Cheboygan for a week.
