Attempted a AM fish Wedndsday am. The water is stained to muddy. Along the mile roads .The water was mud (about 6 inch vis) in the 15 to 16 foot range. Closer in 13 to 14 fow. ya had about 8" to a foot vis. 12 and and under vis was about 3 to 4 foot off of masonic.

I threw anchor twice. first time in the deep Nothing and the second time in the 12 foot area. Nothing but gobbies and a couple of dink perch. I have to work at 1 pm so I didn't waste my time looking for cleaner/deeper water. Pluss there were solid 2 footers Pluss just about everywhere. If I had time I would think you could find some clean water in the 14 to 15 foot of water in closer to metro?

I'm still thinking of giving it a try Thursday am. I will post the water clearity. Friday is bar night . and sat/sunday is perch fishing. I have a rather large fish fry comming up oct 23 . so enough playing and sleeping in. I'll be fishing :D Tough job as I explained to the wife. (the fishing widow)

Ed, I was thinking about going out Friday morning. Still undecided.
Hard to a find a boat hand on a Friday. Going out of 11 mile.

Does anyone know if Lakeside ever got any shinner for perch in?

Z202 Lakeside ticked off the minnow man a few years back. He only gets huge golden shiners or mud minnows. Metro party store has Emeralds most of the time. and if you putting in at 11 mile Colony marine has them . turn in that lot go through the gate drive straight to the BP gas docks. Owner ,Jackie gives a good count and keeps her minnows in good shape. She opens at 0700 hrs.

I didn't check the wind for Friday (bar night) Sat is going to blow and prob. sturr up the water so Fri. sounds like a good bet. good luck.
