LSC on Friday---10-01-04 ????

Thinking of going out Friday. But where oh where to go!!!! First hunch would be the B-Bouy area maybe for some late season musky. Anyone have any better ideas. (haven't been out there in 3 weeks)

I will be in my treestand hunting the elusive whitetail. May want to try in front of crescent sail club for perch/walleye. Got a couple dozen perch on Sunday using orange or pink perch rigs with minnows. Good luck Mike. Al

Tried the lake over and over to catch anything trolling with very little success. Hope to go out Friday morning and try Detroit River....will attempt
vertical jigging with something that looks like a minnow....don't know whether
to go American side or Canadian...have both licenses...

The weather has to be reasonable...light winds...

I hope to run the kicker in reverse to slow my drift and then drop about
3 to 4 oz's of weight to hold me verticle....think this will work? :rolleyes:

I'm not going to be able to make it up north hunting this weekend :( so it looks like a Friday LSC trip will be in the cards for me too. :) Not sure where I'm going to head out of, but I might try trolling in the morning and then looking for some perch.

You should have no problem. I verticle jig all the time using my 6hp kicker in reverse.
I fished the Sturgeon Hole on Saturday and Sunday jiggin and pullin wire.
Sat I was skunked but seen quite a few caught jiggin early. Sun I got one before sun up pullin a Zplug by the sand piles.
I would try there first water color permitting or the light tower to the red can on the american side.
Looking back at my past 15 year log this is where I typically get my fish this time of year.
In a few weeks it will be Delphine, Delphine, Delphine...I hope.
