That's to bad.
When I was a kid ,first few hunts. me and cuz. went for a afternoon hunt. I was perched on a tree limb. unbenounced to me my cousin snuck up to my tree, to show me how quiet he was???/ well I as a young one and wished for a deer even though I was running out of hunting light. I would hear a snap, hear and there. I drew my recurve back and held. I did see a shadow that could have looked like a deer? Well I debated the release in hope of a deerbut held the shot. Right then I realized it was my cousin . Scared the Shi* out of me. I didn't tell him but we did start giving a whistle before we approached each others stand from then on.
This is something dads and kids / hunting friends should talk about. As redundent as it might be. at the time of the story, We were just two kids in the woods no parents who hunted where we were hunting . Now I'm much more experienced it seems silly but If you bring a guy with you who has never shot a deer or what ever. He/she might jump the gun. (no pun intended) .
I think the hunter in the artical that did the shooting Isn't worried about his hunting privilages. I know i'd be done hunting . NO one is perfect, I hope It help someone
