I used them one season. My experiences were not good. I didnt think they penetrated deep, as deep at other expandables i have used. I also found the blades to break off easier than i would like. I dont think they are a bad head and i am sure they will kill a deer, but i think there are better expandables out there. :(

If you had the time, the muzzy 3 blade 100 grains shoot great. I use a pretty radical helical twist with 4 in. vanes, Goldtip hunter shafts (28.5 in.). This combination flies so good that I would rather practice all the time with the broadhead combo. They actually hit where the field tips do. Ive tried quite a few heads with this being the onlly "sure" bet.

all the expandable broadheads are going to be lethal if used correctly.
What i mean with that is , haveing the right amount of poundage. no less the 65 , and try for 70. and shoot the heavest arrow you can. I shoot either gold tip 7595 , or acc 3-49.gotta have some energy for those things to open and penitrate.

Some are more durable than others.
Ive used the vortexs , very tuff broadhead. on most cases can replace blades and use again.
rocky moutains are good. The blades have a tendancey to break if you hit large bone.( I hit a doe that jumped my string. When she turned and try to duck the arrow hit her on the back of the neck , just below the jaw. Didnt go 20 yards. hell of a blood trail :yikes: )
My latest are the first cut 100's. two blade configureation. Fly great, penatrate awsome with that small blade in front. One deer and the broadhead is trash , but it puts them on the table quick.

Good luck and I hope I helped

60 lbs.is fine for mechanical broadheads if done right. 250 feet per second arrow speed, and or 55 foot pounds of kenetic energy. Last year I hunted with a 60 pound bow and was shooting a 320 grain arrow(CX 200). I used an 85 grain spitfire, and passed through and killed every deer I shot at. Remember it is the speed and the kenetic energy that makes them work, but the most important issue is shot placement.

The revolution is an adequate head, but don't rule out anything by NAP, Rocket, or the new Montec Tekkan.

i started with spitfires and killed a few deer; however just hitting ribs caused every single head to to loose 1 blade. so i switched to wasp jack-hammer sst 100 grain 3 blade openers. 6 deer, 6 pass throughs, 6 blood trails that stevie wonder could follow, NO BROKEN BLADES............... i shoot a bowtech extreme solo at about 320 f.p.s. so it's a quick one; however, anything in the 265 f.p.s. range and CORRECT SHOT PLACEMENT will do the trick... either way good luck
