nope got to go into work.......got off early though...nothing going on there so I slid out ;) will hit the lake with the misses around 12:30....supposed to be windy rest of week so I have to take advantage of it........Oh yeah...well maybe I do have a little perch fever :help: :fish: :fish: ...alarm or no alarm my wake up time is almost always 4:30-5:00 am :SHOCKED: ...can't sleep??? So I makefor a good early morning sportsman :lol: ...but after 10:00 pm it's lights out!

We brought home 19 today.....outta 150 or so!!!! Fished slightly N of 400 club in 13 FOW. Caught most of the keepers on a grn/gld flake tube jig, 1/8oz or on a gold/red spreader. Bite was better in the morning (even though we didn't start till 10) and really dropped off in the afternoon after what little breeze there was layed down. Only 2 SMB today... and about 20 gobies, (that promtly became segull fodder)

There is an awfull lot of minnows that are schooling up right now, seen about 4 or 5 schools of them....even caught one on a leaf worm....which is a first for me..never caught a minnow before. Lots of schools of little perch showing up now so the pigs can't be far behind.

Heard some good reports from the tuna fleet....and some not so good reports out of there too. They had pretty much broken up by about 4pm or so...Don't think they were doing all that well out deeper. We did better on little bits of crawlers than we did minnows today....

Well off to chase some nasty ole river salmon for a couple of days...save some perch for me!!...We'll be back at them on Sat.

got out around 1:00- 1:30 after a little misshap at the well ...undid the ropes went to back out and OOPS...forgot the shorepower :bash: that was a $50.00 mistake.....after we made it out..stopped at 11 mile...nothing....moved to a group of boats off masonic...picked up 13 nice perch...3 smallmouths...2 sheepshead....1 seagull.......Darn seagull went after my minnow on a slip bobber!! Winds died down around 3:00 and the fish shut down.....So I had to go in and make my quick repair to the damage I did earlier! :evil:
