I hunt with it on.....I sometimes use it to hide behind if a deer spots me....Plus I feel naked without it on the bow....

I hang it on a tree. For some reason every now and then when it is on an arrow will drop off. I just don't want it to happen when big buck is there ;)

A quiver creates too much noise and vibration while on the bow...so It hands on a hook...not to mention it throws a bows tune out of whack.

Of course Tree Hanger here as well.

I could never shoot with it on. Besides I dont even put it on my bow going in and out of the woods. I set it up so, it fits on my pack.;)

Hangs on the tree. I agree, it makes too much noise and since i practice with it off, i hunt with it off.

I take my Kwickie Kwiver off and hang it on a bracket that scews into the tree . I shoot much better with the quiver off ,and my bow is quieter too .

I switched to a 3 arrow quickee quiver a few years ago. I practice with it on, and hunt with it on. You basically NEED to hunt the same as you practice, anything else will throw your shots off kilter. I stalk hunt alot, so having the arrows close to hand is important to me, but the 6 arrow set-up I had was a pain. the Three arrow set-up is AWESOME..and as much as I need for hunting.

On, but I always check to make sure the arrows are in there tight, so as to not rattle

On the ground on, in a tree, on a hook

I shoot a recurve so my arrows are put in a back Quiver that goes across my chest and over one shoulder and around my waist.

Mine will be hanging from the tree with a "just in case" arrow ready.

I practice and hunt with mine left on.I have an Alpine Soft-Loc 5 arrow quiver. Its super quiet an light.Comes on and off quick an easy when I put it in or take it out of my bow case.I do have an E-Z hanger and hang everything else on there, grunt call, rattle bag, binos, etc.

I prefer to take it off but practice with it on as well.

It does change my POI slightly with it on but I don't want to second guess myself if I get a shot while on the way in, moving to another stand or on the way out.

The quiver makes no differance whatsoever with the tune of your bow, and with a high quality quiver, adds little to no noise...I know that's the case with my mathew's quiver and the Sagitarious quiver's I used in the past.

But, regardless, if you hunt out of 40-50 trees a year, many, many sits, you are bound to run across a time that the noise from the act of taking your quiver off, or the act of not having one as handy as you would if your quiver was on, will ruin a hunt or spook a deer. It's not worth it for me, but to each his own.

Bottom line though....no differance on where the shot hits.

I hunt with it off.

It creates more weight and vibration with it on. Besides I shoot better with it off.

I have an extra bracket for my quikie quiver that I snap it on to that I've attached to my stand. It keeps the arrows out of the way but close at hand if I want to put on a judo point to take a shot at a squirrel or a grouse..:D

Have always hunted with it on. I like my extras arrows right in front of me instead of having to reach for another if needed.

On my bow unless the stand I'm in is tight and I need all the room I can get to swing my bow back in forth. My bow is like 39" I believe and if I had one of them 30"'s I think the arrows would stick out more and I would take the quiver off then. One question I have is if you never put your quiver on your bow how do you get your arrows up a tree safely and without arrows hitting branches etc on the way up. Also my quiver does not make any detectable noise and does not affect my shot to my knowlege. I have a couple friends however that had quivers that rattled like crazy.

I always hunt with the quiver on the bow, but I practice with quiver on a lot. I prefer quivers that hold arrows tight to the riser for best balance. I only hunt with three arrows in the quiver to save weight. I practice shoot with two arrows in the quiver.

Im with TS. It has gotten me a few deer in my earlier days of bowhunting, and hunting out of so many different treestands I always know where to get another arrow real fast if need be.

I use a 3 shaft quiver (carbons) I practice with it on and off, and hunt the same way. Stalking it's on,.... blind hunting it's off with one out at the ready. ;)
