I've got a friend who has an AR-34 and wants to get rid of it but the draw length on it is only 28" when I draw 28.5 or 29". Do you have to get a new cam to change the draw length on these bows? It's a heck of a deal but if I have to spend a bunch of $$ to change the draw length it really isn't worth it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is it a ram and a half or a single ram cam?

Ran.5 are modular adjustable. Single (ram cam) have a different cam for each draw.

Many AR dealers will just swap you out for the right cam for a fee of labor involved though. Not a big deal.

It's got the single cam, I figured that I would have to swap cams to change the draw length.
A lot of people I talk to are going with the Ram.5. Is there a distinct advantage of Ram.5 over the ram?

i am shooting the 31 ram and 1/2 right now and i don't really see a lot of difference. it is a little faster then the ram cam and i think a little smoother on the draw.
i would contact a dealer in your area and they will be able to replace the cam for you. i would be suprised if they charge you more then $10 or so.
