I don't know where you're running out of, but we've done pretty good on perch out at Sputnik, about 8 miles out from the raisin river - N41 49.562 W083 11.604. We'll be there Thursday morning.

Rasin River , I can go out of Boles harbor, Sterling or Metro. I have not decided yet. Do you know a good spot to pick up minnows ? Thanks for the come back.

try either state park party store at sterling or mathews bait just past the bolles harbor launch.either is fair and has good bait and information. Dan

Well, the help from you guys really paid off. Went out just east of the red and white buoy by Sputnik. We boated 43 perch in 29 FOW and threw about 30 small ones back. Half of the perch were 10'' and the rest were 8"-9".

The funny thing was when we were buying minnows I asked for 6-dozen. The guy told us just to buy 2-dozen and cut them in half . I have been fishing LSC perch with a buddy and the perch there don’t like dead minnows. It was nice not having to keep the bait alive. Well I think I have the wife hooked on perch fishing when the eyes are not producing.

Raisin River It was nice talking to you out there and I do hope you did just as well. Thanks all............Vince(Leakypipe).:fish:
