Secord Lake

A friend of mine ask me to show him around Secord because he has a Bass tournament there Sun. I used to fish tournaments and did well there. I have not been there in 10 or more years. Guess what, my fish are still there. There seems to be more weeds though. Jim if you read this good luck.
Now! We stoped in to the store [Lakeshore-Marina] and there are new owners. They seems to be nice people. I told them about Michigan Sportsman site and they might become a new sponsor. They talked about setting up some shany's this winter and making some chilli for the ice fishing people and also takeing them out to the shany's if they don't have a way. Maybe we could have a ice fishing meeting there this year. What do you guys think.

I think it says "come to our marina and take home a free boat".. I just love those good folks up at Secord Lake.

Boy I'd pretty much bet I could bring about 6 guys or so. My buddy's small hunting cabin is 10 minutes from there. Gee, look at that, another excuse to head north after hunting season. ;)

Lost Arrow resorts right around the corner if people need lodging. Plus there are a few No-tel Motel's around as well.

i was just talking to a friend of mine that secord is one of those lakes i've always wanted to give a try through the ice..... sounds like a good idea

My brother in law just closed on a lakefront property there this week !

Not sure what they catch on the ice(pike-panfish?)but sounds like it might be fun.My sister lives on secord lake so I should be able to get some reports when the time comes.
