Anyone having any luck on perch from Luna Pier south toward the border? From the Monroe area it seems if you hit the right day & depth it's a blast. Speaking of Luna Pier, I've visited a few times to view the lake but never to launch. Can you do it right by the pier? or is there a better place to launch/park in that general area?

Luna Pier harbor club has a pretty good launch, which puts you on the lake in a hurry(short Canal), just north of Consumers. I think it costs 7.50 to ramp though, but worth it. Farther west down the channel of the harbor club, there is a ramp that i think the police dept owns. You can purchase a pass from them at the station for a believe the same price. If I were you, I would use LPHC ramp. Hope that helps...

I haven't done much this year in that area, but have done very well in the past around the lighthouse. My experience has been that once the fish come in that is an excellent area.
I agree re. the launch - it never seems to be overly busy and you are on the lake quickly.
Hopefully things will improve with coller weather (if it ever comes!)
