Perch at Gul Lake

Was out at Gull Lake this weekend and let me tel you the Perch were hot hot hot not any dinks either these were the big boys and girls we coulnd even get a gill which is what we started for but the perch became exciting

If its the same lake as we talked about a month or so ago, yep there are some dandies in there. Not too many fishing for them this time of year.Sunken Island? what kinda bait? Best one I ever got outta there was thru the ice and it was a little over 14 inches. See ya.:)

Believe it or not it was right of the boat launc in either direction...using worms
I did everything I would have and fished where I would have for gills yet the perch were on fire had a blast and the wife just kept laughing every time I saw one on the line and got excited

sounds like a good trip,usually do good in that area at ice out and a month later, also the island( west side) and off the hogsback.hopefully, not too many folks seen ya hoistin em in, yeah right ;) ;)
