View Full Version : Lost Arrow/Tittabawassee Rv. Help
I'm taking the family to the Lost Arrow resort near Gladwin this weekend. The lodge sits on the banks of the Tittabawassee River. Can anyone help me with the fishing there? Species available, techniques, tackle, etc.
I have a boat so I'll be able to get around a bit.
Thanks for the help,
Neal

I have fished around there in the past.....We caught pike, bass, and pan fish.
We were using Berkley power bait( 7" worms) rigged carolina style....We did quite well. My buddy was using various jigs and spoons and caught a few nice pike....28"-36".... I hope this helps...

It's a nice place - you'll like it...
Grab some mepps and some plastic. A lot of bass and pike in there. The lake sometimes gets a bit of recreational traffic, but that should be about wrapped up for the summer.
If I were going, I'd have some mepps, size #2 in silver, and red/silver, a handful of beetle spins, maybe some tube baits, a few dardevils and cleos, and a spinning rod with 8lb test. If you target the pike in particular, you might even want to tie on a 4" steel leader.
Good luck.
Thanks for the help guys....

Neal, Sanford lake is off US-10 a couple of miles west of M-30. You also have Wixom lake which is off M30 to the north of Sanford. If you need info on where to fish Sanford let me know.
