I moved to Zeeland, but have never fished lake Mac for Walleye.
AMT is saying Hopkins spoons in front of Vanandel???
Can anyone tell me where Vanandel is? Do you tip the spoon with anything(minnow, leech, crawler,TNT ;) )?
sounds Like they are talking about Van Andle arena maybe. Downtown GR... Wait Is that on the river? Maybe I am wrong

Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids isnt too far from the river. Maybe I will have to check it out after class. I keep trying to catch something from that river but always come up empty handed. Even the suckers don't like me in the spring

Tha Vanandel docks are on the west end of the lake on the left as you are entering the channel. Most people use either a half or three quarter ounce silver or gold hopkins spoon with nothing on the hook. Hpoe that helps

Double eyes is correct, Just to make it clear it is on the South Side just before the pier wall, Not State park side..

It's getting easier to find all the time....just look for the group of boats full of people "doing the jig".
