Nice fish---and a great one for a first fish, great catch.--Can't say the same about the wife though.......Although, I should never judge another mans wife......Hmmmm... Beer goggles?

Passed thrugh Ludington today on my way home from manistee.Talk to alot of people at the fish cleaning stations and found out how well everyone was doing over there.Well the bite is quite hot to say the least.I wished I had stayed at Ludington instead of Manistee.Ludinton is a very beautiful place with much nicer piers and very nice harbors.Hamilton Lake was quite interesting as well to see.Im looking forward to my next trip over there when I plan on staying there much longer maybe even permanently :D
Your wife caught a very nice size king even if it wouldnt have been her 1st lake Michigan king.

Backlash makes for a good fishin partner but he's no wife. It took his wife 20 mins to land that hog and she almost had to give up the rod after the 3rd long run, but she toughed it out and landed it. It was bleeding all over my boat so as soon as don got it untangled from the net we snapped a quick photo befor we put her in the box.We later got pics of Kris with her big king at the cleaning station.
