smalleye and little perch are still biting..did mange a 26 inch northern and a 3lb 1 oz green carp(i.e, Largemouth bass), he musta been disoriented by wave,wind,cloud and drizzle...lol..called it early, wind makin boat control little difficult and spits of moisture, plus ominous lookin clouds and wench is workin 12 to day...no opprotunity to hear or chat with others..but i could almost see the larger eyes awakening from a sound days sleep and hear the opening jaw exercizes!..lol Seriously guys, give her day to settle from the recent rains and i think ya have a chance for a decent eye bite..kents launches are open 6 a.m. til 10 p.m. gives ya plenty of 'dark' time to chase them..plus water temps droppin oughta 'stir' the bigger pike bite! and of course,the ever anticipated fall crappie run....and seeins i'll be north next week, save a few for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh wally..at my age, i've been desperate for years!..lol....kent just seems to be producing a little better right now and its only 20 minutes from me....and you know WENCH, she's willing to fish any place,any time, anywhere.....She's tickled pickin up a few perch(her favorite meal).

Bill, what depths are you finding the smaller eyes in? Have you tried or found the "hole" yet?
