stoney Point/sterling

Fished sterling state park this morning(friday).Tried in 18-20 foot water-1 small walleye.Moved to the ohio/michigan border in front of stoney point(but in michigan water 25-27 foot). Caught a 2 man limit and culled a few. Most fish caught down deep, hot n tot in chrome blue and also chrome silver. Added split shots and had 200 feet of line out. Also on riggers 130 back set 8 feet down. Most 13-15 , but did get a 24 and 20 and a couple more around 17. Didnt see much action in close, but most people doing fairly well out deep.Nice going during the week and not seeing the traffic at the launch :)

On friday at sterling I caught a 3 man limit in about 3 and a half hours. We cuaght most of em on wiggle warts,magnum wiggle warts, and small dipsyies with really small silver streaks, we started in 18-20fow and moved out to 27-31 where we caught most of the fish, also caught a 6 1/2 lb smallmouth and a 4 lb smallmouth. And on Wed. I had a 20lbs Pike on but my friend decided to net the lure instead of the fish so it got off, i would of let the pike go anyways to expensive to mount.

If you can, post a picture of this 6 1/2 lb. smallie. I, and I'm sure many others would LOVE to see this one. You gonna mount it?

No, Im not going to mount it i just cut it up, but i did get picturs of it but i dont have a scanner but I'm supposed to be getting one soon, its not that pretty either it was mostly a mix of gray brown and green. I did get a 5lb. smallie mounted though and it looks alot better than this one did.
