Are my doves spoiled?

Hello all,

I have what is probably a very stupid question.

I hunted yesterday and took four dove. I was given maybe 2doz more and didn't have a chance to clean them last night. I did put them in a cooler on ice when I got home.

Are they spoiled or will they be ok to clean tonight? I surely hope I didn't waste these birds:bash:

IF they have been on ice in a closed cooler and I mean if there is still ice in it. They MIGHT be OK, Your nose will tell you if they are starting to turn. Wash the meat under hard running, cold water longer than normal to get any trace of offal off and out of the meat. Good luck.
