Fished the Boardman R. this weekend. Salon are starting to come in. The weir is in place but they are not harvesting the fish as of yet. it was up last weekend and there were fish s far up as the dam. Kind of weird that people can fish next to the ladder at the dam next to the S. Union St. bridge. Last weekend people were catching but this weekend nothing.
Also was advised to go to Elk Rapids. Nothing. Sat there for about 20 mins and didn't see a thing from the hydro plant. Doesn'tseem like a good place to fush there.
Got report of fish in the Bettsie and also down from Tippy dam but it went unconfirmed this weekend. Can anyone elaborate? :help: I'm going backin2 weekends from now.
I did get a nice rainbow trout though and released it back.
