Trim Won't go Down on Boat?

We just started fixing are boat for the summer and we have a problem. i was wondring if anyone could help us. We have an electric motor and the trim won't go down. Anyone have a clue to what this problem is. Thanks

Had same problem two yrs ago. Take small moter apart and clean the brush's and greese the bearing's.

My dad is getting part in the mail today and he thinks that is the problem. If that does not work i am going to copy what some of the guys on this site said. Though, i think it might be some greese like smokley said. We will see.
