I'm trying to plan a late camping trip with 4 family's the weekend after labor day. I found Sleepy Hollow state park and it seems they have plenty to offer. As I read through the available campsites (on line reservations) there were a bunch that said "small site, good for tent" or site is unlevel".

Is it worth going to? Are the site's all small. I would like to get a "block" of site's. Two in one row and two in the row behind so we would have our own little "Block".

Your fed back would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The sites are quite open(i.e. not very many trees), and there are usually a lot of people there, so if you are looking for seclusion, Sleepy Hollow is probably not the place to go.

There is really good panfish, bass, and catfish fishing on Lake Ovid. There is no recreation traffic, so that is nice. I've caught many a nice 'Gill on the lake.

good luck with your camping trip

Cheers
