Ephron Hatch

Fished Mio Saturday evening. Saw the start of the white fly (ephron) hatch. Quite a bit of caddis too, but the ephrons were just starting to come out in pockets. When they did the fish were really active, like fish jumping entirely out of the water after them. I had a few hit, but only managed to land 3 little browns. Maybe it will be really good by next weekend.

dang, their a little early this year.... i was hoping to get up there and hit the ephorons, but looks like i may miss it. To me, I love fishing the ephoron hatch cuz the fish get so zeroed in on whiye between the white mayflies and white caddis that are hatching.
