ok guys me and my dad are totally stuck. we thought we had a pattern down for stoney's walleye's but i guess not. were do we find them, infront of the beach, south dam in 20 ft of water, north dam in 5????
where!? i love fishin that lake cause not many do, but with all this frustration i might be another boat on the already crowded st.clair. please help:confused:
If I may help you, look wintercove area and the area right out of Mt. Vernon...it is shallow, so I mean out a ways from here in the deeper water! There are a few points and dropoffs but you have to find them! I hope I can help!:D

Well, I am just trying to help another angler! Yeah, I know alot about Stony and alot of others on this site do also! I will try to help as much as I can! Do you troll, bottom bounce, run downriggers, or cast??? I know some other areas! Walleye are deep, and conncentrated near shelfs, ledges, and points! I wouldn't be suprised if you pulled a few pike out when fishing for marble eyes!?!! Anyways, have fun out there and glad I could help!:D

hey dan, we mostly do our walleye fishing in the summer with crawler harnesses. we seem to do pretty well at times when we think we have them down, but nope! we need to fish this lake more i guess to learn those fish better. we concentrate our slow trollin by the south dam, just troll back and forth into 23 to 14 foot of water, we do pretty good sometimes. but thats it, thats were we catch out walleye. wat about in that bay by the fishing peir, is that any good? we havent fished any weeds for them but they gotta be in there sometime. keep that help comin partner!!!! good fishin to all!!!!
