Evinrude Aquasonic

Serial Number 7518-28474

That's the only ID# of any sort I could find on it, no model number to be found (at least by me).

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Mitch

I may be wrong but it looks like a 1955 7.5 hp. I found a site that has model numbers and years listed. That's what it says for the 7518 part. I couldn't narrow it down to the second half of the number but I'll keep trying.

Whoops, totally forgot to ad that, it is indeed a 7.5 horse.

Thanks a ton,

Mitch

No problem Mitch.

I looked at the Ken Cook site and if you'd like a manual for it, they're available for about $20 ! They're nice to have. I bought a set for my '61 Evinrude a couple of years ago. Good quality and very helpful. If you're interested let me know and I can tell you how to find them.

Good luck.

did you get the "cruise-a-day" pressurized fuel tank with her?

I've never heard the term "cruise a day" but it did come with a pressurized tank.

This is what Tonga's talking about.
Look at that price.

Yeah, that's what I have but I'd call the one I have in much better shape, it looks like brand new. However I don't recall it being a matching Evinrude tank (I'll have to take a better look). I'm assuming by the price that they don't make these pressurized tanks anymore?

Thanks for the link,

Mitch

I never had a motor with a pressurized tank, was this because the motor does not have a fuel pump ?

Not quite that shiney! That's not fair though, that one has been restored!
