What are some good lakes to fish in the easter 1/2 of the UP? Going up next week. Interested in walleye, perch, panfish. I will be taking an 18' bass boat. Thanks in advance. :D
Try either Brimley Bay or Munuscong Bay for walleye, perch and pike. Even an occasional Muskie can be had in Munuscong. Good Luck if you go. Please send me a report when you get back I'm thinking of a trip up there myself in the next couple weeks.:D
Flatsman, for the most part Brimley Bay Walleye fishing has shut down, a week or two ago you would have done great there, the mayfly hatch has started and the water has warmed considerably,
As for Munuscong Bay that fisherie never really produced many Walleye this year you should be able to catch Pike most anywhere in that system at this time, Walleye are being caught in the St.Marys river system, Perch are where you find them. If you want email me and I'll try to help you out a bit more ..:D Yoda
