I have a new Lund 1600 SS Explorer set up primarliy inland fishing style, but want to get in on this west coast salmon sometime in the future. Looking for ideas, anybody have detailed pix in their pix stash they care to share on how they rig their backend for down riggers. I'd like to do a temp install/removable as boat is used to play with kids on inland lakes. Any help would be appreciated..

Check out Kroppe's gallary. He has his riggers set into tracks so they're easily removable.

I have a similar set up as Kroppe. I have two Pursuit, 24" tracks on the back of my 1800 Alaskan. I use their rod holders too. I have two Cannon Unitroll downriggers that side in the tracks if you use the Pursuit downrigger mounts. I used the raised mounts so everthing clears the sides. Berts has similar equipment. I like them because they are easy to change, slide, move, takeoff and put back on. A really good set up. I'll try and get some pics posted.

For the most part, I use many of the Pursuit accesories and tracks. They are not cheap but they have some nice stuff. He's local too. Here's a link to his site:
