August Trip

The wife and I are planning a week long trip into the UP. Working our way across the state, hopefully making it to the porkies. We'll be up there the second week of August. Hopefully we can find some streams to chase after some brooks with flies. She's a pretty good trooper, but doubt she'd be able to handle anything too brushy. If anyone has some tips or ideas of rivers to try, please send me a message. We're not looking for large fish (though I wouldn't run away from one either ). Also would there be any lake run fish in at this time of the year?
