Didn't you have a source in the Fairhaven area for Minn Kota parts? I did a search and came up blank. My switch on the Auto Pilot went out....AGAIN!!!:confused: :yikes: :rant:

yes I did,,,,I would get parts directly from the "BOAT NAZI" ,,,I don't know how he did it but he could get parts for Minn Kota at a unbelievable discount...I would buy direct from him but I am sorry to say he has folded up shop and moved north.
When he left he emailed me a very large lists of his contacts but about a week later my PC crashed and I lost the hole thing.
I was also told by someone that he had passed on,,,,I really hope not...I really hope he just sitting in the shade with a fishing pole and a cold one!
I will do a little digging and see if I can find something,,,give me a few.

Are you speaking of "Discount Marine" on John R?(Only cause he went to the U.P.). If so, look up the number and call and it will forward to him up north and he will ship to you... If that isnt who your talking about, disregard...

on the minn kota website they list Empire Electric for service in Algonac.

I needed the transom bracket for mine I called minkotas customer support
1-800-227-6433 had the part in 3 days..

ESOX I did some digging and am sorry to say I can't save you any money.
Empire Electric dose do service like PITBULL said but I don't think that is what you are looking for.
The "BOAT NAZI" was just a guy who had a thriving home business,,most people found him very hard to get along with but he and I were on very good terms.
He would sell me things like Mirage SS props new in the box $150,stock aluminum Mercruiser props $85,and lots of other things at very good prices...

the guy at empire works out of his house. real nice guy. he serviced my 55pd foot control pad a year ago. sure beats driving out to brighton!
