thursday morning , garyrod bender and myself tryed are luck.we caught 20 fish walleye and 2 nice crappie along with alot of pike.we had a very good day on the pond. the largest was a 25 in. walleye and didnt weigh.we kept 5 walleye 5 bluegill and 2 crappie .what a supper. :fish:

Mountainman,thanks for the early am (4:30) outing pal...That was the most fun I`ve had targetting `eyes,and even catching as many as we did.We anchored up as soon as we got to depth. Between 6-16fow.Around 9 or so we changed tactics and did the drift/slow roll`n crawler harness`s.Didnt much matter what color,green/gold,blue/white...Even the hawg came on a jig n crawler.The wind stayed up and I think the fish were on the feed.Cant wait `til dinner tomorrow.Rick should have pics,and the 25" was just over 4#`s.Enjoy the fish fry man!

Thanks, Great report guys! I've only been able to get up & out twice since the ice went out and lets just say my success has been less than stellar. "Should have been here last week", "Really killed'em right after you left" has been the sorted story of my fishing success thus far this year. Kinda like the time we met on Higgins (Winterfest) when you were trout fishing! I'm starting to get a complex! :bloos: I'm trying to make it up next weekend (7/31-8/1) and the following weekend but since that's the "Bud Bash" weekend I don't anticipate getting any serious fishing done that weekend! :yikes: Any suggestions and reports would be appriciated! :help: Drop me a PM or leave them here on this thread. Burksee. How`ve you been? That was only my 4th time out this year :chillin: , hope to be hitt`n the pond`s a bit more from here `til freeze-up :fish: . Then the wife becomes an ice fisherman-widow :yikes: Lets do the `eye thing again reel soon! Maybe `midweek? sorry for all the icon`s...lol :fish:

MM & GRB: Doing goood, thanks for asking! Hope all is well with you as well. Sounds good but our plans for this weekend are now up in the air right now, I'll give you a ring when I'm sure I'll be there for some fishing time!
