I bowhunt a fairly small piece of property in DeWitt. Last year I saw about 7 different bucks with one beiing a beautiful 8 point probably 17 inches wide. I saw it 4 times in the first week of the season last year and then it dissappeared and I thought maybe it was hit or shot but talking to the property owner last night he said they saw a buck that is currently about 15 wide and looke to be at least an 8 point. In talkin to him, from his decription it may be the same deer and with some growing time to boot. I hope so he was beautiful to watch last year as he sparred with a lot of the other bucks and ruled his little woodlot. Also a few really big sets of tracks out there so I am excited I shot a doe out there 2 years ago that was HUGE! and I mean huge it took 2 guys lifting and one pulling and tying off the rope for this doe. I had the hide tanned with hair on because she was so big the taxidermist said the customers who came in his shop said I was a lyer if i said it was a doe. Maybe again this year there seems to be some good genes out there :D
