Launched out of the West Michigan/ S. Center Rd. ramp at 1pm until 6pm. Headed along the south bank towards the Saginaw River (East) for 1.5 miles drifting. Was fishing the banks with a Texas rigged chartreuse grub with 1/8 oz bullet weight. Buddy and I caught approx. 18 smallies unfortunately all around 1 inch short of legal. Looking forward to fishing Saginaw river and the Titt. in Midland/Freeland. Have never fishied these rivers although we live in between them. Would appreciate any and all info, thanks.

There is some good deep holes upstream just past the Gratiot street bridge. Watch going under the first railroad bridge and Gratiot bridge they get pretty shallow and rocky thou. There is a lot of wood in that river and also boulders for cover. We used small cranks in the spring for white bass and the small mouth would also hit them just as much. Good luck and be careful on the Tibb. River. BAYDOG
