moonfish?

Hello,
This is my first post. Can someone please tell me what a moonfish is? A friend said she caught a moonfish on LSC. I think it is slang for something I never heard of. Thanks for anyones help.

Probably meant to say Mooneye. They look a bit like a big shad.
