Back in Feb. I took one of my bows (Oneida Eagle) in to have a new Timming Cable put on. The place I took it into sent it to Oneida Eagle to have them due the work on it. I called to check on it again and they still have not received it back for Oneida, but Oneida claims that they did receive it when it was sent to them. The guy from the place I took it to has done a great job on other things I have had him do. He has been triing to check on it status but gets the run around when he calls up there. This weekend he said he will drive up there to check on things.

I think there are a few here that know the folks up at Oneida pretty well. Maybe they can help you out. The service in their shop seems to be top notch but mistakes happen. Hopefully it can be resolved quickly.

I'd call up Oneida directly and ask to talk to Matt or Will. They're customer service is on par with PSE's, and that my friend is very very good. Claude is a great guy and loves his company, and he's very good at making his customers happy. And if somehow the bow got 'misplaced', then I'll bet you that you'll have a new bow soon.

However, I must ask you, what model year and model of Oneida bow is it?

Sucks about losing your bow. If Oneida never received it the shop should be liable. Hope you kept all your paperwork incase it gets ugly.

When did PSE clean up their customer service? I haven't heard much about them for a while, but pre-1990'ish they didn't have a good reputation, back when they were making bows for the masses. I thought they had a recent class action against them (something about faulty limbs exploding).

PSE has the best, I should say outstanding customer service in the industry. Check out archerytalk.com and do a search....several thousand members on that forum and you'll never hear bashing of PSE's customer service.

Well I contacted Oneida directly last night to ask them about it.
The lady I talk to was great (didn't catch her name though), she told me that they haven't received anything from that shop yet this year but that someone from there called yesterday (7-19-04) to request an RA number to ship them several bows all.

So another phone call is in order to the archery shop today.

Sounds like the shop that has provided good service in the past is giving me the run around. :rant:

Well what ever the case was my bow is back and is now up for sale.
