Lake Erie

Went out of Huron Metro to lighthouse and drifted crawler harness. Managed 5 nice walleye aveage 3 lbs. Bite got real hot about 2:30 when a storm front skirted to the north and the wind picked up. Caught most in 17' to 19'. Perch coloered harness and chartroues were the ticket. It wasn't extremly hot action but there were enough sheepshead to keep you busy.

Went out today from about 4-9 tonight and only got 3. Was out of Luna Pier by the E marker dragging wigglewarts 40 feet behind boards.

Fished erie south of boblo island this am(canadian water). Spanked them,, nothing over 3.5# most were 1.5-2#. any color beads,, smaller hammered silver blades were mandatory(size 3 I believe) and a 4" berkley steelhead worm(gobies arent as big a problem with them). Have fun!

This is my first posting, and I have to tell you it's a great site for the outdoors person. Yesterday morning was out from the Bannana dikes and limited out in three hours with some good eater eyes. Two were caught in 20 fow and the others were in about 16-17 fow. I was using 2 oz. bottom bouncers with a plantuam color harnass. I hope to get all this week for some pm fishing after work, vacation is over.
