Fished South Lake this afternoon. My daughter is at Grandma's this weekend so I took the dog instead.
I could catch as many small Bass as I wanted, they were everywhere. Nothing over about 10-12 inches though. Tried finding some hungry Gills with no luck. Talked to a guy at the launch with an identical report. He said he had the Gills marked at about 16-18 fow but couldn't get them to bite either.
The rain, thunder and lightning came and chased me and my mutt off the lake. Got to drive home with a stinkin wet dog and order pizza for dinner.
Oh well better luck next time
