can anyone tell me of a good place for large mouth around macomb,oakland or lapeer counties, im goin thru large mouth withdrawl, ive only caught a handful this summer, but small mouth ive caught so many i cant even count, ive pretty much fished all the ponds and river holes in macomb, im gettin sicke of them

I know some real nice size ones reside in Stoney Creek. Got word that they put a harvester thru the lake for the weeds.

Had a buddy drift a crawler over the weed tops by Baypoint beach and caught a 19 in., 16 in and numerous smaller ones.

We fished a lot last year by the mouth of the Clinton River. We launched the boat at the DNR Public Access, off of South River Road. The best spot we found was between huron point and Metro, in the bay. Most all the LM Bass came from casting along the Huron Point south side of the Clinton River, casting toward shore with any type of top water bait. We tried worms, lizards, cranks baits and nothing. Put on some top waters and nailed the hell out of them. Give it a try.
