The first day back in michigan was raining and yucky so we went to traverse city for the cherry festival. I hung out at school for a little bit and got some things done there.

Then we were back in charlevoix which I found myself fishing here and there. Our first trip out was unsuccesful. Only the gobys were hungry but bob did entice a few sheephead to hit.
The next day we went looing for bluegills on a small lake we told had good bluegills and a great time we had. My 3 cast I landed this nice bass.

A few cast later I hooked a monster that slammed my chartruse rapala but threw the hook instantly. I landed about 12 bass for the day between 4-15 inches and probably landed about 20-25 gills. Between bob and I we probably caught about 60-75 fish and brought home a nice meal of gills. All the gills were caught on cane poles with red worms. What a Blast! Bob also landed a 14-15 inch bass on a cane rod.
Here are a few of the gills.

We saw several bass that had to of gone 20-25 inches. Simply monsters! Here was a beaver dam and then the lake.
