So far I've added aluminum bar ends and a couple other add-ons. I had the handlebar replaced with a slightly narrower straight bar before picking it up. After a "test drive" I felt the riser bar was too much like a cruiser bike.

OK, here's my single speed, affectionately known as "the Mutt".
Custom Ellison aluminum X-frame
XT hubs, Mt. Aero rims, double-butted spokes
LX crank w/1 chainring, 1 cog offering 32/16 gearing
Tektro linear brakes
Avid Real brake levers

Fugly paint by me (on purpose)
Soaking wet, maybe 19 pounds
Very light, very simple, a real point-and-shoot bike that's just a blast.

Strange, that' sthe second time today someone's mentioned biathlons. Nope, I run, but I don't care to and as far as swimming goes, let's just say I come from a long line of bricks. Sinking is hereditary. Now if we could bike and then target shoot, I'd certainly try that. For now tho, I do the bike and beer biathlon. And I'm getting pretty good at it. :p
