I know this isn't A hunt post (should be in the fishing) but in a way it is.
last week I was fishing a river near my house and an Indian reservation conservation officer came running up to me and my buddy when I neted a fish for him,he asked to see our licences and asked if the fish was "legal".and it was. He continued to ask to see our hooks, and bait. after wich he took our licences and wrote our names in a book and said "if I write a ticket I make sure it's a violation ".
so my question is does this man have jursdiction over non- Indians as well as Indians?
I'm afraid I'll run into this guy in the woods. and I don't like when some one takes my name who doesn't need to.I respect our DNR and have no problems with them (nicest pair of guys with a badge) but this guy has a chip.
