Hi guys I'm wondering besides a license what (if anything) you need to fish the canadian side of lake st clair.

Seriously though, if you go into a marina your supposed to call customs other than that you should be all set. If you use minnows your supposed to get them in Canada also.

you may want to check out the site below...a lot of us may not feel the need ....but a trip to the tunnel/bridge can make your day out on the pond less tense

Other than what's mentioned above, if you anchor in Canadian waters, your supposed to go to a Canadian port and call Customs first. :rant:

An open beer in Canada while boating is a no no. They do watch for this infraction and will enforce it.

Form I-68, Never bought one and never saw the need for it. Opinions may vary.

the 68 is not needed and was only used, if ever, when entering the American waters from Candada.

boaters guide to canada. 18 to 20 foot boat. lifejackets sized for each person on board. one throwable and 15 meters of rope. 6 flares for emergency.waterproof flashlight. boarding ladder if more than one half meter freeboard. one anchor and line. one whistle or signaling device.also NO PORTA POTTIES ALLOWED. Thats a good start.
