lOST: 4 oars for T.U. Pontoon @ smith bridge

Lost: July 4th 4, oars for T.U. Pontoon boats. Lost at either Smith Bridge of the South Branch of the Ausable or at Canoe Harbour Campground. Reward for info leading to return.

Yes sir, That was me. My girlfriends was dehydrated and not feeling well at all. So we busted out of there. In our hurry I beleive we left our oars there right at the ramp. Did you see them at all?

If you ever see us or our yellow dodge dakota 4x4Z(hard to miss) stop and say hi. We usually stay at Canoe Harbour campground.

Wish I would have known... oh well. Your g-friend was funny. It was dead silent. She comes floating up and it goes like this:

She should have said something as I had a full bottle of water on me that I wasn't going to use.

Anyway, just after you came past me 2 deer came out sounding like bears. I was about to scream like a girl.

About your oars, did you lose them right there? Strange thing happened that night. 2 guys from out of nowhere waded past me and went up toward that parking lot. But they walked up the worst hill there and walked through the woods. I thought it was weird, like they might be going to jump me there. I stayed a good long time after they left. They stood at the top of the hill and watched me cast in the near darkness.

Well anyway, that was me. I remember what you look like.

Well that is good news. He just wrote me that he ordered a new set and they should be here by this weekend.

I don't really know if Bill Clinton would come through and admit that he took my oars ;)

Trout, your phone call was much appreciated. Thank You for trying to look out for a fellow sportsman.
The company had shipped us oars but only one set. They charged us for two! :tdo12: Now we have to wait for the other set before I can head back up north. I guarantee we will not lose the new oars! :yikes:

P.S., Trout I still owe you a hunting trip to my property just north of you. I never did get out to go turkey hunting. But I will call you for some upcoming adventures. :)
