Kid fishing

My dad took me and my friend fishing this past weekend at this little pond in shelby. Its got a lot of bluegills and bass. I have also herd of some catfish and smaller pike in it. The pond is not huge for a boat and they have this garden section were you cannot fish. It's good for little kids and youngsters. Its at 24 mile and van dyke. Behind the police station and shelby center or whatever it is. If you have any qustions about it just pm me or post it.

I know exactly where you are talking about, I drive by there quite frequently. Sounds like a perfect spot for kids. :)

I was fishing with my 13 year old son this past weekend. Caught a few bass but the time with him at this age will be a memory for the both of us forever.

Perchslammer, I frequent that pond on a regular basis with my kids. We have caught gills, bass and catfish. On our last outing my daughter caught a 21" cat. I have also seen pike taken out of there.
