Well, my mother in law called and after beating around the bush a bit, she asked me if I would take the young cousins and their Dad from Conneticut out fishing while they were here for a couple days. Yeah, like I need an excuse! :) We didn't have but a few hours to fish so I was thinking Bass/Walleye to get the kids some action. With some more thought, I figured the kids would be really thrilled to catch a bigger fish so I couldn't resist trying for Muskie. We headed out off the Belle and the fish Goddess co-operated. In the few hours we were out, both boys and their Dad had the opportunity to reel in the biggest fish of their lives (so far) and my younger guy Paul, helped where it was needed. Good job buddy! :)
Here are a few pics of the fishcatchers.

Thanks! Icet, we were out there for a few hours Saturday afternoon. I usually scan 6, 68, 71, 78, 79 and 80 but I think I had it set on 6 most of the time that afternoon. How did it go in the tourney?

We fished both days. Harvested weeds and bugs Sat, one fish by the dumps. Sunday, nada. Should have fished on the Canadian side but one of us forgot to get the license (stupid me). Not sure how it turned out as Sunday with such a poor day I went home, picked up the wife and headed out to Strawberry to drown my sorrows. If I hear something, I will post the results.

Yeah, the fish over there are not very big so I probably wouldn't fish there in a tournament but I figured it was my best chance to get the boys a couple fish. Just about time to get some big boys in the middle! :p
