We were south of the 400 club a little today and managed 1 walleye, some perch (biggest was 12.5), a few bass and nice sunnie. Lots of small perch and a few rock bass also. Fished about 13-15' most of the time. Nice day until the wind died and the bugs got bad. Hope you guys found more walleye than we did KB and Fiji. Lets see if I can do this pic right. http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/500/5273Im000336-thumb.jpg

There you go.
My first (hopefully not last) time out with Fiji Thanks for the trip. We started off drifting and then did some trolling. We only had one keeper perch taken on a Pa's. 11 1/2 inches. We talked with I'll be outside and IFN, heard Jumbo was down by the dumping grounds. It didnt sound like anyone was really killing them on the radio, oh well still a great morning to be on the water...
Well, we gave it a try.
The skunk was chased off the boat.....but just barely.
So...ESOX is abandoning ppl on the water eh ? LOL tsk tsk tsk
We didn't do any better during our "picnic" either. Had one BIG rip on a black/gold hot-n-tot that I fought for about one minute or so till the line broke. No clue what it was but it sure would have been nice to find out.
Guess I need a LSC "mentor" to figure all this out.
Who has a paintball gun I can borrow to tag these @^#&$* idiots in the big cruisers who have no business at the wheel ??? They were out in force today.....Sheriff boat just sat there at the buoys and watched !
Nice tasty catch there IBO !! :fish:

Thanks KB!! Sorry about the radio, I just have a little wimpy handheld. Ship to shore should arrive at christmas if I'm a good boy  . Some people are just IDIOTS, we had two large boats buzz us at about 8:00 when not many people were out. I think they got a kick out of it because there was everywhere to go to get arounds us. I saluted the first one and broke out both for the second. I came close to breaking out the moon :yikes: to be sure they knew how I felt but my dad talked me out of it. Oh well, nice morning on the water.

A buddy and I headed out to the dumping grounds at dawn....had one in the cooler within 5 minutes ...caught another about 9:30am. By 10:00am things had dried up for us and the bugs were unbearable so we headed back towards the launch and trolled off the 400 Club for about an hour and a half. Landed two more out there. All in all we took home 4 walleye and 4 perch...not too bad.

Gsepan and I got 3 walleyes (Greg 2, Mike 1) and numerous silver bass in the South Channel. We cut across Big Muscamoot and tried the end of the Middle channel with no luck. I couldnt believe the big boats that were just tearing up the water today.... It took us about a 1/2 hour to get from the mouth of the middle channel to the launch in Algonac because of all the big boats and the 4 to 5 foot wakes they were leaving..... Normally, I can make it in about 5 minutes. Plus, we had a jet skiing female come within 15 feet of our bow going full throttle......

Fished 7-10 & 7-11 at the north end of the Dumps, picked up two Eyes 18 on 7-10, zero on 7-11 am, moved to the # 3 can an got one 16. Got a handful of perch each day. Same program BBs hammered copper red beads & chartreuse / green with lime beads. What a great weekend on the water. Fished with a couple of guys from the Battle Creak Steelheaders (Warren & Archie) on our annual trade a trip and had a great time with some good company. Partied at Jiggers at the end of each day with a fish fry that was to die for.

I took my son and his friend out. We first tried for perch around the St. Clair light, Canadian side, and got nothing. Moved up to Buoy 26 and caught a few small ones and a couple keepers. I lost a huge Silver Bass at the boat, 15" - 16". The bugs were getting worse so we started to troll, caught 1 nice eye (2.5 lbs.) immediately on a silver bladed harness, hologram type. Soon after, my son's friend wasn't feeling good and I think we all had enough of the heat and the BUGS, so we headed in.

I fished the LSC all weekend, Fri night casting, got 1 4.8 lber on a pearl bomber at the north channel, then 2 hrs sleep and back out in the am saturday, got 1 eye trolling bb and harnesses down current at the middle channel( about 2 lbs), paried at jiggers with a bunch of fun people, and my fellow BC steelheaders, went back out on sun and got 2 eaters 16-17 inchers, my buddy got 2 of the same size and lost 2 larger eyes early, all with bb's and gold harnesses 3oz trolling downcurrent at the middle channel. Had a blast all weekend with the fine folks in the LSC walleye Assoc.
Thanks freinds! :)
