Wondering if any one on here has any info on 4hp. merc. 4 stroke engine ? Thinking on getting one and would like to hear your opinion on them thanks alot Slayer p.s. its a 2003

I have A 2003 Merc 115hp that has low hours on it. Can't say I'm very happy with it. I am getting gas into the oil on the motor. According to the dealer & Merc Tech Assistance the rings are not yet seated. I have to put an additive into the fuel to help the process out & avoid low RPM running (trolling) or idling. The problem is supposed to fix it self, we'll see.
