Too bad I am back at work, had a wonderful weekend at the girlfriends cabin. Met up with some friends, one of who had never fly-fished before, so we went out sat evening and sun evening and fly-fished on a not-allowed-to-be-named river near her cabin. He was doing pretty well, and some *sshole drives by and says,"you aren't going to catch fish like that" and drives off laughing. :mad: Fortunately my friend didn't take it too seriously, and he had a good time. He didn't land any, but had a small brookie on to get him coming back again. For my part, I got three brooks sunday night on a nymph, 11", 8" and 6". Not too much bug activity that I saw. I'll be back up again for 4th of July, so maybe the bigger bugs will be around.
