All 5 of them, for about 2 minutes. Then it got too cold and it was over before it started. We still caught our weight in 5-8" trout. Had a great and really worked on my cast. Paying the price though for flinging that big bug an hour after the brief encounter with the hex's.

I fished the South Branch below Chase until dark on Sat 6-26. Lots of different bugs on the water, mainly Caddis and something small enough that I'd just call a midge. Caught a few little brookies on 16-18 Adam's and Griffith's Gnats. 1 on a hare's ear nymph.
About when are the hex and drakes show up? I had to get back to the cabin at a reasonable hour to keep the other half a little bit happy. Great day for fishing though. Nice weather and a little downstream breeze.

The few hexes we saw were at least 1.5-2 hours after dark. So maybe between 11:30-12:30AM. We stayed til 1:30AM and only saw 1 big fish rise.
Drakes were pretty heavy 30 minutes before dark, not a huge hatch but they were there. At midnight I started to see a few dead hexes drift past from upstream.
