fished erie all 3 days this weekend, took 41 walleye,friday evning went out after work with moonlighting on his boat,we took our michigan limet in front of fermi in 20 to 22 feet of water,took a 11th walleye was caught while clearing lines(we thur one back) a copper spoon with orange prizum tape and a white with purple walleye diver were the hot baits.
saturday fished with my 3 kids we were on the water from 2 to 9 ended up with 14 walleye and 1 perch,just sorta rolled with the waves in front of fermi,no real hot bait,did catch more fish on spoons then on cranks.
fathersday fished with the whole family including the war dept. we were on the water from noon till 6 ended up with 16 walleye and 2 perch.started in front of fermi,to many weeds and boats moved out to deeper water maybe 3 miles north of spudnick,spoons on the riggers near the bottom were the ticket,also took a few fish off the boards.
