Howdy yall,
I've got the salmon thing down. Go to Frankfort or Leland and come home with a cooler full,
But,
While I've had some luck catching panfish, nothing substantial. I am preparing to go the S. Leelanau and am wondering if there are other perch (and walleye) hotspots in this area. I have been told the west bay is good for perch, but haven't tried it yet. I've been told Long Lake used to be good for walleye but lately (last few years anyway), it's not been too steady.
Nothing like a plate full of panfried perch and fried taters!!!!
